The HHP building, UNCG.

Here I am, day two of graduate school. It's going well so far, but I'm quickly discovering how busy I'll potentially be. The courses in therapeutic recreation all appear to be interesting, with the exception of an undergrad medical terminology class, required b/c my B.S. is in an unrelated field. The profs are all great though, unlike a certain developmental psych instructor I had last fall @ PVCC.

The photo is of the health & human performance building, from the inside, obviously. It has classrooms, offices, gyms, the pool, etc. It's old, but not bad... there are a few accessibility issues but nothing major. It's tough though. Today is a day that my spinal cord injury is really weighing on me, and I fear that it may throughout much of my stay here. It's difficult to sit in a chair when there's energy and desire built up inside of me to do something active & exhausting... yet there is no easy way to hop up & do something... and so many people in this building are apparently keeping in shape. Blah.

Anyway, just a little vent. I wish life was different. All I did was bruise a bundle of nerves no larger than the diameter of your pinky.

I have one more class, 5:30-8:20. I thought it started @ 5. It's 5:21. I'm going in. Hopefully a little pack of Craisins & an Odwalla bar will give me the energy to keep rockin'
